They are one of the most endangered habitats in the world due to human interference. Find out what creatures live there, why they are threatened, and what you can do to help. Plus, enjoy a keeper chat and watch the otters receive a special enrichment treat!

StoryWalk at the Zoo

Story Walk at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo Syracuse

11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Enjoy guided tours of the new StoryWalk at the zoo featuring the beloved children’s book “Good Night, Gorilla” by Peggy Rathman. Follow the pages through the zoo ending with our siamang apes, who happen to resemble their cousin, the gorilla in the book. Then learn about siamangs – and zookeepers! – at a special keeper chat.
