Educator's Resources

Education is an integral part of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s mission. Our education programs offer fun, interactive educational experiences for all ages – from infants to the young at heart! Whether you are an individual, a family, a teacher or group leader, we offer programs designed to meet your needs and interests — and connect you with the natural world.

Thanks to our partners WCNY and the Syracuse City School District, the zoo education department is able to bring you these video classes that your child or your student(s) can view online. Each class is accompanied by teacher resources that can be used before and after the lesson to introduce the topic and follow up on the material presented.

We hope you enjoy these examples of our zoo education department in action!

Elementary Science: Animal Adaptations
